I’ve been working on an Arduino project to automate my air conditioner recently. The goal is to remotely control (and schedule) it via an iPhone app → UNO board (via cloud) → infra red transmitter → AC.

Primarily I want to create complex on/off schedules and turn it on remotely (usually when I’m on my way home so it’s cool when I arrive). Finally closed out the main flow last night (albeit with IR emitters with terrible range - waiting on better ones arriving now).
